Sebastien stays for several weeks, building bottle walls, and bamboo fencing. then Sierra and Wenzday, Elizabeth and Josh. JQ. Anna and her brother Mathew come for several days.

Mabel, Dan and Natalia came to visit in January! They helped with setting up the hot shower and solar power. Mabel and I worked on a bottle wall together! Lots of fun around the campfire with them! Later in February Ada has come to stay and we’ve been working on irrigation for the garden and cooking yummy meals!
this part of the year adds to my spirit the old stones that tells me of history of this land in my blood! adds the liveliness of people living together, working together, a goal! Even this end of summer 2020, challenged with a world wide pandemic of a virus!
Arrived last evening enforced mask wearers in the bus and lively clusters of unmasked people at sidewalk cafés!
Of course in my mind the awesome near Death Valley desert . Where a few people live among the daily remembrance of once volcanos, slides of lava now hardened and black, Colors of deep sunset and ochre , a once Great Lake with big fish , now tiny in hidden creeks. Some those, comfortable realize the daily is unimportant !
3moons project began on chilly early March with intrepid Robert from Vancouver who wanted to build. We broke ground for the next little dome chaparral dome. Then came Julie from her workaways in New Zealand and Australia, joined us filling and putting down bags. Then came New workaways, Nathalie Daniel and their little Mabel. They can learn to add to their farm in New York State.. joined with building up the little dome. Daniel built the door.
