I started building earth bag buildings ?
With my pull towards simple building, I had the opportunity to learn and work with Nader Khalili, an architect, teaching at SCI ARC in Los Angeles.
His class, called, architecture without architects ! In 1994, he began his center, Cal-Earth, to build with earth bags.. Exists and thrives ! With a few others, I lived and worked there for 2 years. A few years later, I built, not completely, open top,, a 20 ft dome , nearby in Charleston View.

Last week, spent a splendid afternoon with retired Botanist professor, Willem Vancotthem from the university of Ghent. So kindly picked me up from the Ghent station to see his home and wonderful garden projects. Not only to understand how to make the plastic bottle walls he has invented, but also showed me such a good and easy system to start trees. We talked of various edible plants good to grow in a desert. Prof. Vancotthem has traveled the world, seeing and working with many different growing or places need to grow!
Now, so excited to begin with YOU who comes to help with me this spring flower up 3 Moons site!
